Residence Policies

Residence General Policies

  • Check-In Time: 15:00 hrs – 23:00 hrs   Check-out 12:00 hrs

​

  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to bed/room availability on the relevant day/time. To be reconfirmed with the front office staff. 

​

  • For all room types there is a full 1 night charge for early check-in of the public rack rate published that day. The levy is chargeable for early check-in from 06:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs

​

  • For all room types there is a $50.00 USD fee for late check-out of the out check out from 12:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs and 50% from 15:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs. The levy is of the public rack rate published that day. There is a full 1 night charge for departures after 18:00 hrs.

  • The fee applies to all reservations.    

Deposit Policy

  • Valid credit card is needed at the booking time (accepted by The Residence).

​

  • If you provide a credit card at time of booking, your room is held until check-out time the day following the arrival. For all other reservations, rooms are held until the cancellation time specified in your reservation. In the event the guests marked in the reservation confirmation arrive and can not be accommodated or the room is unavailable, The Residence will attempt to accommodate you at is expense, at a comparable establishment in the area for the oversold night(s), and will pay for transportation to that establishment. In the event more guests arrive than marked in the reservation confirmation and can not be accommodated, The Residence will attempt to accommodate you at your expense, at a comparable establishment in the area for the oversold night(s), and will not pay for transportation to that establishment. Other incurring costs related to this specific case will be covered in full by the person responsible for the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Guaranteed

  • All reservation payments are guaranteed by a valid credit card (accepted in The Residence). Individual and/or group reservations are not allowed to be modified. All reservations are fully guaranteed, a full stay charge will be applied at the time of booking.

  • There may be additional applicable charges and taxes.

Flexible

  • All reservation payments are guaranteed by a valid credit card (accepted in The Residence). Individual reservations are allowed to be modified online on the client’s behalf 24 hours prior to the arrival date and no cancellation fee will be applied. The deadline is 15:00 hrs on the day prior to the reservation.

  • If the cancellation is done after 15:00 hrs on the day before the arrival date, the forfeiture amount is 1 night stay (on the rate charged). There may be additional applicable charges and taxes.

​

  • For group bookings (starting from 3 rooms) cancellations must be done 7 days before the arrival date in order to avoid the forfeiture of 1 night stay (on the rate charged); charged if cancelled within 7 days and 24:00 hours prior to date of arrival. If cancelled after 15:00 on the day prior to the arrival and NO SHOWS; 100% of the deposit will be taken.

Allotment

  • On Request; the rooms need to be confirmed by the hotel.

  • Allotment conditions are subject to negotiation with each specific agency. A minimum number of room sales needs to be guaranteed. The allotment negotiation is based on the volume of sales, season or specific dates and release dates.

Family Plan

  • The Residence cannot accept children below 7 years of age. Please contact the hotel for further information.

  • Some rooms have a sofabed for individual use only. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.
